Adventures in Peru! by Ana D♥

                                                 Adventures in Peru
                      by Ana D.

Two weeks ago my family set out on a vacation to Peru. I loved the idea of a vacation, but I didn't know what to expect in a different language speaking country. I dint really worry all that much because i  knew Spanish thanks to Senorita Baker in the seventh grade. It was exiting getting on the plane to leave, because i knew we'd have a great time. The plane ride took a while, so when we got off we weren't in a hurry to get back on. An amazing thing happened, though. when we got off the plane we walked directly into my first place on the list. The airport founded by Francisco Pizarro (the explorer) himself. It was a grande airport, and very beautiful.

After seeing that beautiful site we went to our hotel. It was also very beautiful. There were colorful wild birds all around. Singing in the trees, flying through the air, everywhere! It was quite a site to see. Our rooms were colorful too, and the bathrooms had little mints, which i easily found out were soap. That next day, once we settled in we went out for food, and found ourselves on the next place in my list. The Peru street markets! They were just beautiful! singers and dancers performing for money, clerks calling out for us to "buy their products". We ended up getting 3 baskets of food, with my dad, sister, and i carrying them so mom could take pictures. Its was quite beautiful, but at the end of the day we were grateful for rest.

At the beginning of the 2nd week after we had finished exploring the town, we went on a jeep ride out in the beautiful beaches. Well, lets just say our luck was absolutely AMAZING those two weeks, cause we found ourselves out by my next place on the list. The Ancient Mayan Ruins. They were so freaky/amazing!! We even got to see where they sacrificed young girls (the freaky part was mostly that)! There were tombs and farm hills and everything! I was so amazed to see all the stuff i learned in 6th grade, but in real life. I never wanted to leave!!

At the end of our amazing two weeks, we had to go. But it was so amazing i know i will never
forget my  ADVENTURES IN PERU!
