Trip to Peru
Over the past few weeks, I went on an amazing trip to Peru! I went and saw Machu Picchu which, by the way, if you ever go to peru you should go see it. The ruins were magnificent, and it was so mind-blowing to think that people once lived there! It almost feels unreal, like you're not really there. This was definatly the highlight of my trip.
Next I went to Iquitos, the largest city in the world, that can not be reached by road. I went to Belen, which consists of huts buit on rafts, which rise and fall with the river! Sometimes when the water is low, the rafts sit in the mud, but most of the year they float on top the river, which gives a very colorful and beautiful view. This was another favorite of mine in Peru.
The last higlight of my trip, was the Sacred Valley. It was so beautiful and I had a blast! Over all, my trip to Peru was so much fun, and it was a great experience! If you are planning to take a trip any where anytime soon, I highly recommend Peru! -Grace P.
