Dear Readers,
Over the summer I took a trip to Bolivia. While I was in Bolivia I went on a trip called the Andes to the Atlantic experience a 25 day trip. On my first day we had no plans so we checked in to our hotel in La Pez. Our hotel was in the city, the city was in the center of shops and markets. We went to a market called the Witches Market where people go to purchase potions and herbs and spices. We also went to other markets where I purchased some hand made bags and alpaca wool rugs.(mainly alpaca goods:)
The next day we checked out of our hotel and went to the salt flats. The salt flats was a 5 day journey, it was really cool. I saw all sorts of beautiful sights and of course it was very salty!!! What was very cool about the salt flats was that it was over 12000 square kilometers and it is one of Bolivia's main salt mining areas! The salt was very strong and the the flats were like glass, I felt like I was standing on glass I can't even comprehend how beautiful they were. The salt flats looked magnificent and mesmerizing in the evening sunset all the oranges and reds reflected off the

that the salt flats has a hotel entirely made out of salt. The flats were divided into millions of cubes, but in the glimmer of light they looked like clear glass. I have never seen anything as beautiful as this and I never will see anything more beautiful. Also when we were by the flats we stopped off by active volcanoes!! We got to see boiling mud baths and active geysers, it was a beautiful sight to see!!!
Finally, we went to Iguazu falls. This falls is huge, it has over 275 different water falls combined! And Iguazu falls had over 3 km of land, it is also taller than Niagra and Victorian falls! I loved Iguazu falls, the sight was beautiful they had huge amounts of water falling of into the water and very strong spray. But that's not all,we also also went to the Argentina side of the falls!!! We had the choice to do beautiful catwalks and scary boat rides. We also walked around the falls and I have to admit it was on of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen in my life. The greenery around the falls was magnificent, the water was a beautiful crystal blue.
It was mesmerizing!!! Thanks for blogging with me!! (pic from http://www.lonelyplanet.com)
